Absolutely horrible. He failed to inform us when we
hired him to install a new shower in our master bath
that he would only half install the shower. He put up
the base, put in a new handle, valve and shower
head and then told us we would have to hire
someone else to hang the doors. This was never
mentioned prior. It took several calls to find a
company willing to follow someone else’s work.
Another company came in and installed our doors.
But our shower head has leaked heavily from day 1.
He came to “fix” it and told us that it wasn’t leaking.
HA! It definitely leaks. Sperry Plumbing also failed to
install anything underneath the shower to help hold
it up, it sags when you step in. Eventually the floor
will crack and it will have to be cut out and fixed.
This shower was installed in April of this year with a
combined cost between the shower itself, Sperry
and the glass installers we had to hire of about
$3000. The shower doors and trim leak because
they were not installed properly. I had a unrelated
plumber out today and our only option is to replace
all 3 glass walls/door including the floor trim
because it was all cut to force fit. So there is
probably another $700 or more added to this. I have
never been so blatantly ripped off. I grew up in the
area and Sperry was always very reputable. I am
extremely disappointed and disgusted with Dennis
Sperry (he did the work) and he refuses to make it
good.
