  Going to Asia SF in October for a bachelorette party. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel (and by decent I mean nice enough and no stabbings) in that area? I know nothing about the City except they have crappy sports teams.

  Dan and I stayed at the Handlery Union Square Hotel the last time we were there and we were really happy and impressed. The Teatro Zinzanni show recommends them to all their guests too, which is how we found out about them. Oh yeah, and of course its in Union Square which = SHOPPING!!!! http://sf.handlery.com/
