  Not sure if this kind of post is allowed but we are renovating a 1901 house and will be adding HVAC. We have a lot of radiators in excellent condition and wanted to know if there is interest from other rehabbers to purchase them or know of a place that buys them. I have a few pictures below. Some of the radiators we have are not quite as large as the ones in the pictures.

  keep the radiators!!! Unico is one common "mini-ductwork" system. (http://www.unicosystem.com/) there is another company, but they don't have any offices in the st. louis area. there is only one company in the metro area that installs Unico, Arras Air. they gave me a quote for my house, and the cost comes out to 75% more than their quote for standard ductwork system with a moderately efficient gas furnace. i decided to go with a standard ductwork furnace system because, even though they had to rerun the whole system, i already had some of the vents cut out of the floors and ceilings anyway. (the unico quote was about 2.25 times what i ended up paying.)

  We used Lennox and they were fine. If I had it to do over I'd seriously consider a Unico system. Takes up very limited space.http://www.unicosystem.com/
