  Please go onto our website at: www.rockdaleautism.org. Under the resources tab, you will find several links including Autism Speaks' 100 Day Kit for recently diagnosed families. TEFRA or Katie Beckett is a state program through the Georgia Dept of Community Health. We'll send you a message for a contact at Parent to Parent of Georgia who can offer information on that and other programs/services.

  We moved to Conyers not long ago, I have a son (12) with Aspergers and Tourette's (tics come and go). My question is what pediatric dr would you recommend and a possible neurologist in the area? Also does this group get together? Are there any other support groups for Autism in the area? Thanks

  Hi there! My son is 13 with aspergers. He has been going to Ascend Pediatric Neurology his whole life due to seizures. They are in Dunwoody. Our group does get together. We don't have regular meetings or social skills groups over the summer but p lan to have some informal outings. Please visit our website at: rockdaleautism.org.
