I've used John Bayliss, just round the corner from us in Moor Lane for a few years now. http://www.spinalmechanics.co.uk/baylissosteopathyclinic.html He does a good job, maybe over two or three visits depending on the severity of the problem...

I'm biased as I get free treatment him being my dad, but he is the longest standing Osteopath in the area, published books and dvd's on spinal mechanics and given advanced training around the world. One (of many) stories he doesn't tell people (to validate he is good) was a spiritual leader in India, money no object asked him to come out by reputation as she could not move. He said no, then heard one of the best Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physios worldwide had been and failed, so he went, and fixed the problem. So just saying as not many people realise how good he is, as other treatments can give you temporary relief but not fix the cause. So in terms of back specialist, you have an world expert who happens to be local
