Would be best if it was suitable for adults and kids, that's not going to cost the earth to hire. Ideally somewhere that's a little nicer as its for a celebration for a couple aged 60+.   Random question: it's mine and my husbands 30th next year and we want to book somewhere for a party, but struggling to think of anywhere. Ideally needs to be near to hotels, have parking and not be too pricey. We would have around 100 people and would look to have a buffet. I've asked about the poachers as that's our local but the buffet cost would push the budget too far (min: £13.95 a head!) The George doesn't have a function room suitable for that number and I know there are loads of places in town but ideally wanted to stay closer to home. Has anyone any ideas or can recommend anywhere?

  Just wondering if anyone can help with this, my local archery club is on the look out for new outdoor premises. Basically we need an acre or two where we can safely shoot and have our storage shed as well as space for parking. We would prefer to rent a field but might be able to buy, although land around here is obviously expensive!
