Univ of MD is canceling our insurance plan, and we need to pick a new one in October. Our two choices are CareFirst BCBS or United Healthcare. Does anyone like (or hate) their family plans with either of those two insurance providers?

Seth-I'm an Internist and opened a new kind of primary care on Forest Dr that allows people to go with higher deductible and then for just $35/mo, all primary and urgent care is covered for $25 copay. Kids 12-25 are free. And if you work, many visits can be done virtually. Personally, I think this is a great option--and you can save a lot pee month on premiums. Check it out www.emc4 me.com.
