  www.repairclinic.com has a repair clinic section. You enter all the info and sometimes they have a video to repair it yourself. This is how I fixed my own snowblower. They are located in Canton so if you need a part, it's nearby. Also www.appliancedoctormi.com was the guy I called about my refrig. He said I sounded pretty knowledgable and that I knew that my frig wasn't worth salvaging. He could have come out, charged me an arm and leg and told me that but he didn't. Got his name off of Angie's List.
