  General contractor recommendations Hey folks! I'm considering an addition to my house (garage with bedroom and office above), and I'm looking for any and all advice. I've got zero experience in this type of venture, but I'm pretty sure that talking to a general contractor is the way to go.   Not sure where you're located, but Todd at [TCW Homes](http://www.tcwhomes.com/) did a fantastic job with our renovations. He's mainly in the North Atlanta/Decatur area, but may be able to help you out or refer you to someone else if you're outside of his work area.
