  I was just recommended a chap called David Hornsby who specialises in listed buildings, but it's £1000 for that service (http://www.surveysbydavidhornsby.co.uk/listed-buildings.html). Gonzo recommended a guy called Roy McLure who is based on Richmond Green, but he said local knowledge is important.
