TPG Fights with a Cause -
As an advocate of health and wellness, I have read a lot of online articles written to impress, inform and educate. There is a few which are recognized to convey the best thoughts and reflections but there are a lot of hidden articles which, if unearthed from the deep crevices of the World Wide Web, can create a great impact to society. Sadly, many of the articles which are unveiled and unread are those with greater purpose, with words enough to bring life to consciousness and those which bear greater role in the issues of society.
The campaign for the provision of proper health care is delicate. It can either strengthen or weaken the cause. There are some blogs which speaks of too much violence when it comes to defeating fraudulent actions towards health care.
In today’s world where netizens, the voice of ordinary citizens scattered across the world of Internet, have a stand and their opinions are taken into great consideration, words have become a powerful tool to establish grounds of ideas which can influence even the other side of the world.
Focusing on health care, The Peterson Group, a non-profit organization which I only happen to stumble upon when I was researching for relevant information on my campaign against counterfeited medicines, has one of the few websites which provides relevant information, concise and comprehensive data and material which can greatly affect the people reading them.
The role of healthcare has been greatly discarded as a lifetime issue, one which is insolvable like poverty, education and hunger. Solutions for these issues are now being belittled to almost improbable and impossible.
The Peterson Group is only one of those few advocates who have not given up. With fresh information almost daily, they aim to advance and reach as much as many people who are existing in the internet world.
Personally, I applaud their effort of bringing awareness and their focus to defeat counterfeiting medicines which, as many people are not aware of, cost billions of dollars yearly.
In an interview with one of their members, Doc. Josephine Kirkland, the organization is yet to further achieve their goal of total awareness and wipe out of counterfeiting but they have never lost faith. They now have thousands of members which are made up of independent individuals, health care professionals and medical doctors like her. Each of them is being briefed on the effects of counterfeiting and each of them is fighting the same cause which makes the organization even stronger than its foes.
Hey, #ICSF veterans. Any suggestions for an alternate hotel? Prefer a smaller, stylish/funky (did I just say that?) and possibly cheaper place to stay within a short walk (3-4 blocks?) from the conference hotel.
