We're in the process of getting estimates for a new moisture vapor barrier for our crawl space and have gotten some wildly different estimates from companies we found with quick Google searches. Are there any crawl space companies in the Triangle you would recommend? Our crawl space is what you might expect on an older home, but nothing too crazy. We're also considering an upgrade to our 30-year-old HVAC system. Send those recommendations if you don't mind as well. Cheers to home-ownership!

la_granma replied:I've worked in the sealed crawlspace industry for a couple years but have recently gone back to doing carpentry. You just need the vapor barrier? I could do it myself. Cheaper than any other company around here probably. Also definetly better than green horizon. Whoever you decide to go with, DO NOT choose them. I worked for them for a very short period of time; they have terrible quality of work, and pay their employees badly.
