  Just pulled the trigger on a echomap chirp 93 sv for 750 usd (just shy of 1 k cdn) best deal I could find, gpscity and radioworld are asking 1 k for he 7" series. Thegpsstore.com. If anyone is looking for a good sideview sonar I'd recommend checking them out.
