  Can anyone recommend a good dog groomer. Just back from holidays and we have a very scruffy flat coat retriever. Would like him seen very soon but also must be good with 11 year old mutt.

  We have a flattie too and I've tried a couple of places in the past but haven't been happy with the results at all (they just seemed to trim her all over, rather than paying attention to how the breed should look). We've got ours booked in for a cut on Tuesday at a golden retriever breeder and groomer in Bo'ness (http://www.lamanchagoldens.co.uk) I'll let you know how she gets on!
