Check out childcareindiana.org You can search providers by your zip code or county. Look for providers on the Paths to Quality. The higher the level the more structure and curriculum you'll find and likely the better provider.
columbus CCDF voucher program is in need of donations. they have been out of funding for 3 months and the waiting list is increasing. if anyone knows of anywhere that would help. please pm me with details. thanks

CCDF is federal/state money. The program is administered by the Bureau of Child Care. In.gov has the contact information for that program. Have you discuss other options with your child care resource and referral? Child Answers? 8002991627 will get you connected with them. There are programs that have financial assistance outside of CCDF. It depends on ages, hrs needed, etc... Scholarships and sliding scale fees may be other search options. Hope this helps. The only way CCDF will get more money is if the government decides unfortunately. It is a huge need!! Great advocacy.
Can anyone recommend child care for an infant on the east side/near Irvington area? Not that I have a job to go to yet but, it's going to take a while for me to conduct some CIA style background checks so I should probably start now.
