  Hi just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for camping around Ireland please with three kids. Want somewhere suitable from babies up to eight year old that is not too near water but where we can go off cycling and not have to leave the place very much so possibly close to a small town even with good camping facilities also.   Westport , you can park at the harbour for free if you wish & your wright at the bars & restaurants , 30 euro a nite in Westport house very good & clean as a whistle

  I've been to Westport lots of times with the girls when they were young, Westport house is lovely its got its own park with water rides, wee rowing boats etc and a really good campsite for your motor home.

  been to westport house camp grounds and cant get better,if you do go stay 3 nights and get the house grounds and attraction bands ,and get a bit of fishing in on the river ,good natural brown trout in it ,good clean safe and fun, bar and resturant on site free mini golf ,logflume swan boats etc all included and the toilets and showers have a cleaner there what seems full time ,,, towns great for a bit of shopping and yer not to far away from castle bar for some bigger brand shops ,once you do westport house no other will compare

  i was there years ago there was a camp site on the grounds of westport house it was a lovely place xo
