Any recommendations for viola insurance? I'm a beginner violist and I want to take care of my instrument. Hello everyone!
I have been looking through this forum to see if there's any information, but I have not seen it yet.
I bought my viola used in October. I haven't had it valued yet but I have the certificate of purchase and it's $2,000++ it's a Master Tone from Potter's.
I want to insure it against theft, damage and repairs. I am on an extremely tight budget. I am very low income.
I took the plunge and invested in a really good viola. Not regret!
I'm a beginner violist. Never played another instrument nor have I ever learned to read notes or music theory. I'm still at a very basic level. Learning the fundamentals and I'm having such a great time!
I will probably never play an orchestra or quartet, but I still want to ensure my Viola. It has such a wonderful rich sound, the notes are easy to produce.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate your input!

A $2000 instrument is very inexpensive to insure. Try Clarionins.com.
I've seen people talking about insurance on gear for like $15 a month. Where can I find it? What plans do I go for? Etc. thanks in advance.

Check out these guys: Heritage: http://www.musicins.com/ Clarion: http://www.clarionins.com/ Music Pro: https://www.musicproinsurance.com/ You can request a quote. I got $250/year with $0 deductible through heritage. (about $20/month)
Can anyone recommend a musical instrument insurance company? I used to have MusicPro insurance but I dumped them after I learned the hard way that they only cover theft and not loss. I'm going to be touring in the near future and don't want to have to worry about my equipment so much. Thanks!
