I’ve never needed this and am curious about the cost and the process. Thanks in advance. **Update**: For future readers, we did go with Paws Memorial Services, based on overwhelmingly positive recommendations, and I can recommend them as well. Very kind people, and a quick turnaround. The cost for private cremation of our 9-pound cat was $140 (but I believe this varies based on animal size). We also picked out a decorative urn that cost $75, but they had a variety of options at lower/higher prices.

  Can anyone recommend a reasonable vet for dental work? I rescued a miniature doxie off of Craig's list a little while back and he is going to need multiple extractions. This poor pup has had it rough shortly after we got him it was discovered he had a double ear infection.Then he being in survival mode stole some food from my husband and ended up with garlic poisoning. The vet we have seen in the past is extremely expensive it cost less to take him to the emergency vet next to the rock church than it does to our regular vet. What I am getting at is I need a vet that is comfortable working with doxies and understand our situation. He does get nippy with strangers at times.

  (256) 489-8387 this is trusty vet's number. All the ladies at the office are super sweet. And they also take care credit in case you can't afford the dental work. Care credit has been a saving grace with our dog and cat. Our dog's allergies are so severe and nothing works to help her. So needless to say, we are regulars at the office. Lol
