Roofing Fellow Buffalo Redditors, I purchased a home south of the city about a year and a half ago. Moving in, I knew I'd need to replace half of my roof that the previous owner neglected. Since I'm a little bit handy, I'd like to attempt this as a DIY.
Any tips? Good or bad experiences? And thoughts on how much having just a half roof might cost if I want to hire someone?

I can share the name of the guy that fucked up my roof, but if you Google his company name, you'll see that it's now rated an F based on my complaint. I had [Mike Seibold at LeakMasters](http://leakmaster.org/) repair the job done by contractor #1. I'd highly recommend him. He was very professional, friendly and highly rated. I don't know that anyone can give you a cost for "half a roof", since no one knows the size of your roof.
