  I have a friend who's husband is passing away. He served in the military and fought for our country but because of the federal shut down the government will not be paying for the services that they are suppose to. The family can not afford to pay for the burial themselves. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any nonprofits that will help? I will follow any leads.

  It's supposed to tomorrow, but there is a non profit organization called The Fisher House. They have helped many military families during the shut down. I listened to an interview they where in and they sound amazing. Try them maybe I don't know the circumstances, or their requirements but it's worth a shot.
