  Anyone else in Ardmore have issues with being in a flood plain? I live on Magnolia between Hawthorne and Cherokee. Folks on Magnolia, Pine Bluff, and Cherokee may have the same problem. A creek at the back of my lot puts me in the 100-year flood zone. The flood insurance is outrageously high. I am trying to get information on installing flood vents to ameliorate the risks of flooding. Any info, advice, or anecdotes would be appreciated. I also need a certificate of elevation for my property, but the city doesn't seem to have one. Anyone know of a surveyor who might do this?
