Brianne (Kneeshaw) Phillips, Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (Kansas), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Missouri) and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Brianne earned her Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Social Work. She currently sees clients through private practice in Gardner, Kansas. She became the first and only school social worker at a charter school in Kansas City, in 2007. The first school-wide counseling program in the school (offering groups and individual counseling for all students in grades K-12) was created and implemented by Brianne. She is also a trained Love and Logic Parent Educator and a Positive Discipline Parent Educator. Working in a school setting, Brianne works with students and their families, but also collaborates with other health professionals and organizations; she currently serves on the committee for the Metro KC Youth Collaborative through the Mother & Child Health Coalition. Brianne has also led groups focused on building attachment and social skills using Theraplay techniques at a youth center in Kansas City’s urban core. She has spent time volunteering and working with victims of domestic violence, children in the foster care system, and runaways.
Trying to find someone for play therapy. All my other options haven't worked out. TLC is on a waiting list. We won't go back to Life counseling. So any other recommendations? My son is 6 and would like to keep it close to gardner, olathe area.
