Has anyone had a good experience with a dog trainer that doesn’t cost $1,500+? I’m looking for a dog trainer for my one year old english bulldog. I don’t need any advanced training, I just want my dog to learn the basics- Come,Heel, Stay, Place. Every dog trainer/program I’ve researched charges at the least $1,500- (and that is for someone to spend one hour a week at my home for seven weeks). I’m hoping someone can recommend a good trainer that isn’t quite so expensive. Thanks in advance.

Adog (https://www.adog-ga.com/) is really good and a lot cheaper than that
Dog trainer recommendation? We have a 4 month old labradoodle puppy and, while we are teaching him the basics ourselves, we would like the help of a professional as he grows. We live in Virginia Highland.

We've used: ADOG Atlanta Dogwood Obedience Group (770) 986-8317 They have classes, which is important because you need to be trained as well as the dog.
Canine PhD would be my #1 rec. all positive and the trainers are awesome. My only issue is that they are a tad on the expensive side. I currently go to Frogs to Dogs for their reactive dog class and they're pretty decent. I'd also rec ADOG I personally haven't done a class there(plan to do their control unleashed and nose work class with my girls), but have been recommended to them by several people. If your dog's a rescue they give you a discount for your first set of classes http://www.adog-ga.com/
