  Ok friends of NUG, you may remember my post of a week or so ago with regards to our Lockgate diesel stove being starved of fuel and not keeping lit, it's a gravity fed stove , Anyway after trying myself to sort it and failing I resulted to calling in the experts last Monday (again after they'd serviced it 3Wks before)they came got the diesel flowing again lit it and hey presto it worked after an hr I switched it off , then I returned yesterday Saturday lit it and the bloody same issue as before once the meths had burned no diesel getting through so I primed it again diesel was flowing lit it again and NOTHING just a small orange low flame.......................... I GIVE UP WITH IT . Can any recommend a multi fuel log burner what size Kw do you recommend for a 60' NB and how easy/hard are they to fit and finally can someone who fits them in bricks and mortar fit one on a boat or do we need a boaty person ?????? Thank you all in advance from a very cold NB Red Admiral

  Evergreen stoves, excellent, go for about 5-6 kw size. Eddie at northern fabrications always supplied us at best price and can supply the flue etc too. http://www.boatmanstove.co.uk

  And these are cheaper than squirrels. The good thing about small stoves is that they stay lit much longer, the bigger ones are harder to keep lit over night. http://www.boatmanstove.co.uk

  I can also recommend northern fabrication boatman stove. I had bodged the door on mine after I smashed the glass in, and took it to manchester with me (I was going there already). Eddie the owner met me at the station, took it away and drove it fixed to my friends house that evening. Service indeed!
