I've been taking Adderall or Dexedrine or Ritalin, and seemingly cannot find any of those available here. I do, of course have perscriptions for all of the above and would be grateful if anyone on here knows of a pharmacy that actually HAS them. I don't need all three, just one of the three and BOTH the pharmacies that I've been to here in Playas do not carry them. I thank you in advance for your help and suggestions you can provide me with.   My sister says that you can indeed find ritalin in Costa Rica. There is Fischel in Playas del Coco, next to automercado. You can see the other locations in Guanacaste below. http://www.fischel.cr/ubicaciones.php?provincia=Guanacaste&canton

  Ritalin is called Ritalina here, and it's definitely available at Fischel, and many other farmacias carry it as well, although you will need a prescription for it. Jon, not sure where you got it from that ticos don't use ADHD meds - they most certainly do.

  Ok all you city people...she is in the Playas....I would guess there is no delivery from San Jose metro area to the Playas...Rebecca I would get to the nearest larger town ( Liberia?) and check with the pharmacies there for generics if there are any. The Fischel site mentioned above will also let you know their formularies. Try all of them. I had to find some drops for my Mother's glaucoma...found it at 2 pharmacies here in San Ramon, not at 5 others.
