I spent ages finding the right pair of normal goggles last year (settled on small predator ones which are great!) anyone got any tips on where is a good place to get prescription ones (my optician had a choice of 1!) and any particular brands?   I have a fairly narrow face and high prescription -8. I really didn't get on with the Sutton ones as they kept leaking. I then bought a pair of black speedos which are fab. Both from prescription swimming goggles website mentioned above

  Yep just bought a pair for my son (-2)and myself (-8) - £16 quid - and absolutely fantastic! Obviously not bang on prescription wise (I have astigmatism and they only go up in dioptres of .5 or 1 - but near enough.   http://www.prescription-swimming-goggles.co.uk/ (no connection, never used them, they just seem to have a wide range). I'm not sure yellow would help on sunny days though... yellow tints normally help enhance low levels of light... I'd go for smoke (if it's very bright) or blue.

  I got my prescription goggles from http://www.prescription-swimming-goggles.co.uk/ I have a pretty basic pair by Sutton Swimwear (model no: OPT9000) and they’ve been great. I’ve worn them for 5 km lake swims and triathlons and they’ve made such a difference. I find they steam up a bit swimming indoors (but that might just be me) but for outdoor swimming they do the job perfectly.
