  I am looking for some advice please. We have a small garden (rented property) with a lawn of about 30-40 sqm, which is in a terrible state. Personally I would really like to lay some new turf, as the amount of weeds and relatively shaded garden area need something really robust and seeds just never did much good in our old garden. Does anyone have any experience in doing this themselves, is it doable for non garden pro like myself, or would you really recommend getting someone to do it who doesn't charge the earth?
