  Hi. A bit of advice would be great. My 81 T25 needs a new engine which I'm proposing to get from VEGE ( is that the right thing to do?). I need it fitted pronto and have been quoted £585 + VAT including oil and other odds and sods. Garage also says engine bay is rusty and needs work but they can't say how much that will cost until existing engine is taken out. It seems a lot of money and a bit uncertain to me. Does anyone have a view please? Thanks!

  Richard at MLT Autos in Dorking on 01306 889888 club members get a discount Richard has worked on air cooled stuff for over 30 years including sometime in the US and is a really nice guy who has worked on many members air cooled vehicles
