  There's a lovely cafe / sandwich shop in Skircoat Green (the little parade up the hill a bit from the hospital, down from the park - we used to live nearby). I haven't eaten in - tend to get a takeaway sandwich and eat in the park - looks nice though! http://www.coffeeonthebean.com/
