Connie's Groom Room on Taylorsville handles my large slightly excitable dog well. Not in the neighborhood though. Canine Connection is great with my dad's small dog, but they butchered my girl. They should have declined my business if they can't handle that.

I just went to Canine Connection yesterday to have my dogs nails trimmed. They were so nice and helpful. Their shop was really nice and it smelled like a "people spa" not a dog spa! Lol

Canine Connection. Sapphire has been going there for 9 yrs. They do a great job and she always looks great. This is how she looked after a day@the spa (Canine Connection).

Not to hijack or anything but I see so many votes for Canine Connection. Do any of y'all have really neurotic dogs that are difficult grooms? One of mine is a handful. Not aggressive in the least but she does what she can to get away and will dart. frown emoticon Was just wondering if they are good with these type dogs. I'm really considering learning to do all my own grooming.
Kimberly D. replied:
My dog is not neurotic but she is a busy and nosy dog. Our old groomer would give her medicine to groom her. The old groomer cut her and then refused to groom her anymore. Canine Connection gives her wonderful cuts and has never used medicine to calm her ever. I love them.
