So: a new skylight, upholstery work, a new steering wheel put on, some cupboards made and installed etc etc. At some stage I'd also like some developing rust patches looked at and the van either painted or wrapped.   Hi. A bit of advice would be great. My 81 T25 needs a new engine which I'm proposing to get from VEGE ( is that the right thing to do?). I need it fitted pronto and have been quoted £585 + VAT including oil and other odds and sods. Garage also says engine bay is rusty and needs work but they can't say how much that will cost until existing engine is taken out. It seems a lot of money and a bit uncertain to me.
