I would like to donate these coats to a battered women's shelter or a battered women's closet, but am not aware of where they might be located, although had heard that there was one fairly close by.   Are there any places here that take donations of children's clothing (young children) that don't turn around and sell them? For example, the church food pantry in my old neighborhood would accept kids' clothes (especially winter clothes) in good condition and have them available for the people who used the food pantry. Is there anything like that around here?
