  Mazda is no longer selling FC remans. We, at Mazmart.com are building a few units a month for serious customers and race teams. Labor for a balanced unit assembled by our own Rick Engman is $1500. He does MANY things that the newcomers have yet to see or learn :). That's a starting point. A lot of engines need rotor housings and most every seal is recommended to be replaced.

  As far as local shops go, I've used both MazMart and MazdOnly and have no hesitation recommending them; there are no other shops in Atlanta I would recommend. MazdOnly did the install on my Mazda reman motor. I don't have any personal experience with any rebuilders, but Pettit Racing, Mandeville, Racing Beat and Mazdatrix all sell rebuilds - or at least they used to - and are well-known and respected names in the rotary community. Others mentioned Pineapple Racing, and I've heard good things about them too.

  Okay usually I moderate things when stuff like this happens. I want to point out not only one reason why, but a question to everyone else as well. Take a look at the part being asked for, it's among one of the top safety factors in a car, if said car ever has to be sold it can be marked off as an OEM part taken the right route. Now one comment I have already deleted, I'm going to leave this last on right above my post for reference. No offense but why in the HELL would you pull off a crash bar from a totaled car in the first place? The whole frame of that RX8 is twisted and destroyed. You could call that number and he'd tell you "come take it off yourself" Only to find out thanks to the fact it's destroyed and would never pass a safety inspection at any point... it probably won't fit the stock mounting points because it is destroyed. I don't only do this to push people to actually deal with Mazmart which is really not hard and ridiculously cheap to begin with by comparison, it saves you a ton of time and effort to know you're getting the right part, and not getting screwed either. I don't do for the sake of making you buy from Paul, I do this to ensure you're getting the right part, the right fit, meets the right standards, and not have to deal with whatever mess that exists in a junkyard.

Could it be a bad sensor? Where can I go to get checked out? Is it bad to drive as long as temp gauge good! As I am near Vogel state park in Blairsville? Car lives in Cumming usually.
