  Hey neighbors! I'm not one to go to the doctor often and when I do I usually swing in to urgent care at Park Nicollet in Champlin. However I am realizing as I get older that it would probably be nice to have a primary doctor.. I am 28 and would love to find a female doctor nearby, preferably who has some good experience (but isn't going to retire soon) who I can trust and feel comfortable with. Does anyone have any suggestions of a great doctor who fits this description!?

  General practice or Ob/gyn? Dr. Stephanie Rice is a great ob/gyn doctor & is over by maple grove hospital..only 8 miles away. #952-920-2730

Now that we moved to Anoka I am pretty far away from my midwives in Shakopee. :( Looking at local hospitals and I don't know how to get recommendations since I know so few people here... if you have anything to say about it please let me know! Or if you have friends in the area that would know I'd love to be put in touch with them... I need to decide sooner rather than later! I'm considering Unity Hospital in Fridley, Maple Grove Hospital, and just heard about Morning Star birth center in St. Louis Park which also looks great. Good or bad on any of those? Specifically any providers that are good? Looking to go natural again so I want a provider that is super supportive of that. Waterbirths are a plus.

  Britt, Dr baker at OGI (obgynmn.com) they have a clinic in maple grove and use maple grove hospital- best group of practitioners to work with! Seriously though you could pick a doc from their list and seriously cannot go wrong with any of them! Please message me if you have any questions!!
