  Is it me, or does the neighborhood (or at least my part of it on Sherman Ave.) seem to experience a rather high amount of power outages? I lived on Woodland Ave. for three years, and maybe experienced five or so outages. In three years in my Kenwick home, there have probably been a couple dozen outages -- at least. At any rate, the hvac is no longer operating (with no heat, it's 48-degrees in the home), and my place has turned into space heater nation for my girlfriend (I'm out of town tonight). It's only a 3-year old hvac system. Maybe the pilot light is out? I want to say it's an electric pilot, but being the hvac novice and generally unaware, I can't say for sure. Any recommendations on a fair HVAC service company/contractor would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
