Oh and if you want to "camp" without the nature part there is the Cajun Palms RV resort near Lafayette. They have a fun water park, swim up bar, mini golf, video arcade, kids crafts, fishing pond and "cabin" rentals (they are pretty much trailers) if you don't have an RV. http://www.cajunpalms.com/
