  Hello LWLers! I am looking for a recommendation. We are hosting a fundraiser catered by Yasmin: Syrian Food from the Heart (a dynamic catering business owned by nine Syrian women who have arrived in Canada in the past year). The event sold out in days and we are now looking to host another event catered by Miriam but we need a larger venue. The inaugural event is taking place at South Gloucester United Church (they have kindly donated their space to us!). Would any of you amazing LWLers have any recommendations for me? It needs to be able to seat dinners and Miriam will need access to a kitchen. We are hoping for a venue that will seat 150 to 200 diners. It will need to be cost effective too. Thoughts?

  Looking for a venue for a large Christmas party (for about 140 or more ppl) We used the Ramada (Formerly known as The Pines) for our spring brunch but because it was off season there was no roo.m charge. For Chriatmas time they need a non refundable $600 deposit.... this will be too expensive for us. Does anyone have any recommendations?

  Hi Tracy! I am planning my 2009 wedding and have found the ukranian banquet hall www.1000 byron.org/ at first you might get dissapointed but you can invest in decoration and save lots..all places you have to pay at least 5 bucks to have the cake cut and corcage fee ok at least 12 bucks the bottle plus in order to play music and dance at your wedding you need to pay socan 200-600 dollars..this place is huge...just needs to be decorated..you can bring your caterer and save lots of money smile emoticon
