  Recommendations for backyard excavation work Just moved to St. Paul and looking to get a privacy fence up in the back yard, however, for that to happen we need old fence removed and some minor grade work in one of the corners. Also have some old metal laundry poles that need to be removed and some concrete blocks that need to be pulled up. Not opposed to a general contractor that could do Fence, a concrete patio AND the excavation work if anyone knows of such a company. Thanks

  I had premier fence do a privacy fence, they removed the old chain link and installed a new cedar 6' fence http://premierfence.com/ I had Custom Construction Services do grading and a small concrete driveway afterwards http://www.customconstructionservicesmn.com/ I had multiple bids for each job and these 2 companies had competitive bids and the sales guys seemed to really know what they were talking about so I went with them and am very happy with the work from both companies.

  We are moving in, in just a few days, and we are looking for recommendations for someone local to put in a fence. We have had the big names come out....Dakota, Midwest..... but wondering if someone local can give us a better deal. Also looking for someone to install some carpet in a small hallway (about 8'x3'), and someone to run a wire and install an outside light fixture or a decorative light pole in the front yard.
