  Where are some people staying. The Hilton Garden Inn seems a long way off. Any suggestions on a good place fairly close (5 miles or so)?

  There is a Days Inn across the street and is within walking distance. Number is 417-862-0153. There is another one South on Campbell from Bass Pro It is LaQuinta Inn and Suites, 417-890-6060. Both place close to Bass Pro and clean.
