Does anyone know where I can get my 7 month old cat neutered? Somewhere that isn't really expensive.
Kat Z. replied:
250-287-7766 :) Ask for Stephanie Arkwright (president of spca) and say you're enquiring about the low income spay or neuter program. just say he has all of his shots and is in good health. (my boy had no shots at the time but was healthy as a horse). They didnt ask me about shots but they do ask some people and like to have the shots done first so just say he has them and is in good health. Even if you call now and set up the appointment for later in the new year, stephanie from the SPCA is amazing and understanding of finances. she sets up the appointment for you after you talk to her on the phone, and then you just have to make sure you stop by the spca building to drop off your donation before his appointment. when you drop off the donation, she gives you a voucher to get him fixed at either CR vet in willow point, or Merecroft vet (you decide). ive gotten all mine done at merecroft vet and it went excellent! coastland is my regular vet, i only went to merecroft for the spays and neuters. i prefer coastland for everything else. and the spca building is on 16 th av, same road as rickis all day grill :)
So I got my kitties back from my ex today, FINALLY & sadly my boy is covered in mats, anyone know where the cheapest place is to get my poor boy shaved (lion cut) he will probably have to be put under anesthetic
Is there an actual shelter where we can go visit ? Is there a SPCA in town now ?
