Amy W. wrote: Very disappointed with my experience, ordered my wedding cake months ago they agreed they could do what I asked for, on the day of my wedding they were very late with no contact made as to where they were. The cake was delivered just as I was getting in my dress I didn’t even get to see the cake before I had to leave. Once back from the service I was so excited to see the cake but oh my god I could have cried it was embarrassing, It wasn’t straight, it had dents on it, the lines were not cut and finished very well at all, there were little marks on the icing, the middle section was nothin like the picture I sent, there were bows on it I didn’t ask for. When it came to cutting the cake it just slid to one side and was a sticky mess it’s like the cake was rushed and made that morning with no care and attention to detail. The cake itself was stodgy and the icing was so runny I couldn’t even give it to friends and family. I was gutted the other cakes I have seen were amazing this was like a 3 year old had made my cake, admittedly we have had a 50% refund but I will never get that opportunity back again to have an amazing cake to share with my guests!! If it was to much work I would of preferred honesty not a bad wedding cake!!Was this review helpful to you? -
