Situated at the foot of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds, 1 mile from the village of Barmby Moor and 12 miles from the historic city of York, Barmbyfield Barns is a refreshing alternative to the traditional events venue.
The four interconnected barns have been tastefully renovated while retaining their rustic charm and offer an inspiring setting for your event.
The barn which is now the entrance used to be an old stable block and retains its full height ceiling; the Granary barn houses the cosy bar, which is soon to have a wood burner installed.
The Brick barn dates from the 18th century and retains its original wooden beams; it is licensed for wedding ceremonies and can seat up to 120 people.
The main barn is also licensed for ceremonies and can accommodate up to 200 people for food and dancing!
In addition there is a modern toilet block and catering facilities built on the site of the old wheelhouse.
Outside two paddocks with stunning views of the Yorkshire Wolds are the perfect place for outdoor games. Some couples have even had their wedding celebration under the beautiful mature trees.
Another grass field of approximately half an acre provides ample parking space for all your guests.
