  Does anyone know of a neurologist in Texas that specializes or is highly knowledgeable about Chiari? The neurologist I see seems to think the decompression cured me. I still have lots of issues. I just need someone who knows what they are talking about.

  Marcella, it took me five completely incompetent, condescending neurologist duds plus four less-than-competent neurosurgeons before I found my way to this sixth one through my cardioelectrophysiologist. She understands Chiari, Chiari as it relates to EDS, and most especially the neurology of POTS and how that affects both our brains and hearts. She also cares. I've never heard her dismiss any symptoms I've reported, and I've even heard her agree that neurology is the dark hole of incompetence where this complex condition is concerned.
