  Are they full or finished/nearly finished? If the former, you could ask Community Forklift. If the latter, you're supposed to let the paint dry out, and then put in the regular trash.

  If it's still good full cans of paint, and not old, you can take it to Community forklift. If not, you have to dry it all out first and then it can be thrown out. Yes that is a pain to do. There should be instructions about it on the City's website.

  Ditto Sara. The kitty litter soaks the paint right up. How do you donate to Community Forklift? Is there contact info or a page on FB?

  If you're looking for something different and affordable, check out Community Forklift. It's a non-profit reuse center, with a selection of antique, vintage, and timeless furniture.   Community Forklift is occasionally amazing for mirrors and chairs. I really like some "second hand" (cause they're not thrifty, but their stuff is interesting!) stores in the district - Miss Pixie's web site has a listing of other cool places.
