  In the past month I've tried to hire a electrician, contractor, carpet installer and 2 photographers to get the house ready before the baby arrives and do maternity photos. 4 out of the 5 I spoke to about arranging to actually start the work and 0 out of the 5 have followed through. 1 just didn't respond at all. I want to support small businesses, friends, family etc but am having a hard time getting anyone to actually do the work so I can help them earn a living. Is business just that good for people these days that I have to beg??
