Alex D. replied:Depending on the age of your condenser, it may be worth it to replace the whole system. A high efficiency condenser is about $700. They come pre charged. You can either replace your a-coil and line set ($250+$75) or do a flush on them. All that needs to be done is braze a few connections, hook up a few wires, and vacuum down the system. The scrap value of the old unit will offset the new one. I buy all my equipment from design aire in Bridgeton. +1 (314) 739-1600 . They sell to the public.
