  Hi All, This is a long shot but I'm trying to help my sister locate a print by a local artist. She and her husband went to the Art & Craft festival at Francis Field over Thanksgiving weekend and my BIL fell in love with a one particular print but the artist didn't have any available to sell at the show. She wants to try to get a print for him for Christmas. She meant to go back and get the artists card but they got sidetracked and now she can't remember his name. The painting was of a shrimp boat that was docked and in the clouds above was an abstract picture of a man (father of the sea) looking over... I think she said the man in the clouds had blue eyes. She thinks the name of the painting might have been The Oversear (or Overseer). If anyone has any idea who the artist is, we would be forever grateful to help track him down so she can purchase this print from him.

  I figured this is the best page to ask this question! My daughter is 12. But very mature for a 12 y/o. She is dyslexic, really shy, extremely artistic, loves making movies, editing and loves photography! So far she has only used my older very amateur "Target Special" cameras. My dad is sending her his much more advanced newer cameras. We signed up for a photography class at the Lighthouse. But I was wondering if anyone knows of any place/class that offers photography lessons/instructions?!? Thanks in advance!

  Tanya, if this had been posted yesterday we would have suggested the First Friday Artwalk which showcases incredible local artists.
