  Hemel Hivemind! We have a combi boiler that has finally given up the ghost. We need a straight replacement - not moving position or pipes or anything like that. Been quoted £1900 for new boiler and installation. 1 - is this about right? 2 - any recommendations? We'd like to get a few opinions on such a big expense.
