About us
Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a ancient technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was rediscovered in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s. Reiki is administered by a practitioner laying their hands on the client while fully clothed; techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years.
Reiki is a very simple yet powerful technique that can be easily learnt by anyone. The word “Rei” means universal consciousness, and the word “ki” means the same as “Chi” in Chinese, or “Prana” in Sanskrit; it means life force energy. As long as something is alive, it has life force; when it dies, this energy departs. If your life energy is low, or if there is a restriction in its flow, you are more vulnerable to illness. When it is high and flowing freely, you are less likely to get sick.
Reiki is a wonderful way to recharge your batteries and boost your energy with the intention for detoxing and clearing. A Reiki session will help to eliminate blockages in your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, which in turn will allow your body to heal and return to its natural balanced state. A Reiki session costs just £45 and is a wonderful gift to yourself, or even a gift for a friend.
