  Helen Bowers Harris, we always use carnival for our pre cruise stays included are transfers. They usually have 3 different hotels they have contracts with and you choose. And we book their airfare which they have thus far out. We feel more comfortable with carnival having the responsibility for getting us there, etc. A lot of people are seasoned flyers and book a lot and have air miles etc. We don't. Booked TA yesterday.. airfare was $994. Per person .. thats Houston to Barcelona, JFK to Houston. And that's locked.. we felt good with that. Then we booked 2 nights pre-cruise Barcelona for $238 per person for 2 night and that includes transfers from Barcelona airport to hotel and transfer from hotel to ship. We thought that was very reasonable. Some people may not. They had 3 hotels to choose from. And I has stay at two if them in the past. The hotel has a great location.. so I'm sure they will have something to offer for Athens.
